For Powerpoint slides: save as a JPEG in the save menu               
For Photo programs (i.e. Photoshop): save as a JPEG, 200dpi or better


Edit your text to eliminate unnecessary words/characters

• Abbreviate Feb for February, Mon for Monday etc
• Area Code in your phone number is unnecessary 
• You can eliminate Claremont, NH, and just put the street address
  

• Font size should be 24pt or larger
  
• Use an easy to read font such as Arial or Times New Roman
• White works well
• Leave 1/4 in of space between the text and the edge of the slide
  
• A drop shadow might help with clarity

• If you are using a textured background keep it subtle
• Pale colors work well: light blue, green or purple - NO RED

 Between programs, CCTV runs an

"electronic bulletin board" of announcements

 and information.  These include calendar

 events from non-profit and government

agencies serving Sullivan County. 

Some groups send notices which are transcribed to the screen by CCTV staff.  Some others are sending digital files "picture ready" in PowerPoint or similar formats for direct input to our system.
